These Terms govern the use of the GreenBucks Digital wallet and payment services (the “Service”) provided by [Registered company name] (“GreenBucks”, “we”, “us”). By holding a GreenBucks account or making a payment through a connected platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. What GreenBucks is

GreenBucks provides the account, digital-wallet and payment infrastructure used by connected environmental and agriculture-based platforms. GreenBucks is not itself a marketplace and does not sell goods or services directly to the public. It is not a bank, and it is not a cryptocurrency exchange.

2. Accounts and wallets

Your wallet balance represents prepaid credit and amounts recorded to your account for use on the connected platforms. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts used for fraud, abuse, or unlawful activity.

3. Payments and currency

Prices on the platforms may be displayed in United States Dollars (USD) for convenience. Card payments are processed by our third-party payment provider and are charged in South African Rand (ZAR), the settlement currency for our account. The exact ZAR amount is shown on the secure payment screen before you confirm. If you pay with a card denominated in another currency, your card issuer performs the conversion at its own rate; GreenBucks does not set or control that rate.

4. Wallet credit

Wallet credit (including any platform tokens) is prepaid store value usable only within the connected platforms to pay for goods, services and projects offered there. It is not legal tender, is not a cryptocurrency, and is not a means of transferring money between users. 5. Refunds and cancellations

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by law, GreenBucks is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or the connected platforms.
